How’s It Going:
Okay-ish. I mean, the words are coming decently, but I’ve been dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck for about a month now causing nerve pain all down my left arm. It doesn’t really prevent me from doing anything, but it is incredibly distracting. I was able to get some meds and a referral to physical therapy, so hopefully I can get some relief soon.

How’s It Going:
Pretty good. Andrew had to remind me to post an update. XD

In all seriousness, I’ve gotten the bulk of the finale written. I’m going back now to fill in gaps in the middle that I’ve thought of (amazing what happens when you step back from what you’re doing for a while and realize the giant hole you left just over there). 20,000 words looks like a lot to go, but we are getting close to the end here, folks.

How’s It Going:
Almost made myself cry writing one of these finale scenes. I say almost because I was actively trying not to and kept taking breaks to calm down between sentences. Hoo boy.

How’s It Going:
My decision to just start writing the finale was an excellent choice. I wasn’t a hundred percent sure how I was going to do it, but jumping in headfirst has worked out brilliantly. I’m getting my words, I have some exciting things going on, and as always, I’m torturing Madison. He seems to be taking it well so far, but I am nowhere near done with him yet. -evil cackling-

How’s It Going:
Really well, actually. I stopped trying to fill out the middle of the story and went straight to the finale instead, and the words have just been rolling. I’m over halfway to my goal now! And I’m playing with some crazy ideas, digging into my imagination in a way I don’t think I’ve ever really gotten to in my writing before.

Having fun; that’s the ticket. It’s been a minute.
