How’s It Going:
So for anyone who either doesn’t live in Texas or hasn’t heard, this past week Hell froze over and our state was not equipped to deal with it. No, I didn’t write a damn word. Not because it was cold, but because our power was out for most of the week, we almost lost our water, we ran out of firewood on day 2 and had to scramble to find some, and I was more focused on keeping myself, my dad, and my cats from turning into the most horrific kind of popsicles while sitting inside our own home.

That being said, we’re fine now; everything’s back on and the snow/ice is slowly melting away. I even went to work Friday. And my goal is safe too because I purposely built in a buffer. (Hey, someone around here’s gotta think ahead and prepare for the worst. :/) So next week I’ll shoot for my 18k mark, then go from there.

Winter has come, and this time it’s personal

How’s It Going:
Once again, saved by the light structure I’ve laid out. Seriously, it’s enlightening. I may even be able to put this at 50k for real this time. I feel like I’ve hit a good groove here.
