How’s It Going:
Pretty good. Andrew had to remind me to post an update. XD

In all seriousness, I’ve gotten the bulk of the finale written. I’m going back now to fill in gaps in the middle that I’ve thought of (amazing what happens when you step back from what you’re doing for a while and realize the giant hole you left just over there). 20,000 words looks like a lot to go, but we are getting close to the end here, folks.

How’s It Going:
Almost made myself cry writing one of these finale scenes. I say almost because I was actively trying not to and kept taking breaks to calm down between sentences. Hoo boy.

How’s It Going:
My decision to just start writing the finale was an excellent choice. I wasn’t a hundred percent sure how I was going to do it, but jumping in headfirst has worked out brilliantly. I’m getting my words, I have some exciting things going on, and as always, I’m torturing Madison. He seems to be taking it well so far, but I am nowhere near done with him yet. -evil cackling-

How’s It Going:
Really well, actually. I stopped trying to fill out the middle of the story and went straight to the finale instead, and the words have just been rolling. I’m over halfway to my goal now! And I’m playing with some crazy ideas, digging into my imagination in a way I don’t think I’ve ever really gotten to in my writing before.

Having fun; that’s the ticket. It’s been a minute.

How’s It Going:
My word counts have been really good the last couple of weeks, so I finally sat down and redid my numbers to see where I’m at and what I need to shoot for. As I mentioned last week, I’m still on track to hit my goal of finishing this draft by the end of June as long as I stick to my 500 words per day. So hopefully I can keep my ass in line and finish this thing!
